Daktronics contracted EDS to install a dedicated electronic cricket scoreboard at Northampton County Cricket Club. EDS had 10 days from order to design and install foundations, design, manufacture and install a free standing steel sub-structure and mount the Daktronics scoreboard. A mains supply and data cable was installed between the scoreboard control room and the new scoreboard and the scoreboard was commissioned and fully operational on day 9. The new scoreboard successfully relayed the score of the 1 day friendly match between Australia and Northampton on day 10.
